PWS can refurbish all Porsche OE wheels back to original specifications including the Speedline for Porsche 3 Piece split rims, even the full polished wheels can be restored back to there full glory, as the picture of Chris Levers 3.6 shows, this car came second over all in the Street Concourse section of the 2002 Bramham Park PCGB show.
The wheels are split into there 3 pieces, any rim curbing welded and then re machined, all 3 sections are then bead blasted and re anodised to protect them against corrosion, the inner rim section and the spoked areas are then powder coated in silver and the outer rim is re hand polished and clear powder coated for protection.
The 3 pieces are then re assembled using NEW Gaskets, nuts and bolts, the wheel is then pressure tested to ensure a good seal and then under goes a final inspection to ensure the quality is to TUV standards.
We can also refurbish any other design or make of wheel, again back to TUV standards, including anodised finishes and the MAGNESIUM cup wheels which have to under go a special process, as the normal powder coating process will not adhere to the surface of a Magnesium wheel and will result in mirco blistering of the surface,,, so trust them to us, we know how to deal with them !.
This process takes about 10 working days, we can arrange for collection of the wheels, all you have to do is cover the wheel face with cardboard to protect them in transit, we will strip the tyres off the wheels and re build them after they have been refurbished without damaging the protective coating (lacquer) and balance them down to 1 gram.
We do not offer an "exchange wheel service" the wheels you send us are the wheels you get back, that way you know the history of your wheels and where they have been !!!!!!.
